YOUR HOST at The New Psalmanazar is a bibliophile and scribbler who writes under the alias Ian Wolcott. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and children. He recently finished a novel but will probably die of goose attack, comet impact or exposure in the Namib before anyone responds to his query letters. He is employed by a smallish dotcom in Silicon Valley where he gets by on fakery and the timely use of magic words. He blogs because he is a narcissist and likes an excuse.
