Yours Truly
YOUR HOST AT TNP is a dedicated bibliophile, scribbler & sipper of scotch who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and writes under the alias Ian Wolcott. He pens the occasional scrap of poetry, none of which appears on this site. He’s ‘working on a novel’ -but you know how it goes. He’ll probably die of goose attack, comet impact or exposure in the Namib before he finishes it. In the lamentably real world he’s employed with one of those soulless dotcoms in Silicon Valley. It feeds the kids and pays the bills, but your host is unambitious in this direction. He regrets, when he thinks about it, not going to graduate school and becoming a professor, though he recognizes the omission has allowed him greater latitude in his reading habits, which is nothing to sneeze at. He blogs because he is a narcissist and likes an excuse.
